As bar manager of Flair at The Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai Pudong, Ming Liao can lay claim to many years of experience managing beverage operations. Ming's journey began as a co-founder of The Puzzle by Staffroom Chongqing, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the brand's reputation. He then moved on to become the director of beverage at the Intercontinental Chongqing, before continuing his career at The Peninsula Shanghai as the bar operations manager. He later joined Hotel Muse Bangkok as the outlet manager of The Speakeasy, where he further honed his expertise in managing outlets and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Ming's talents have been recognised in multiple competitions including reaching the finals of the Chivas Master China Competition in 2020, and first-place position in the Diplomatico on the Bund competition in 2018. Additionally, he achieved second place in the Diageo World Class Final Taiwan in 2014, as well as first place in the Suntory Cocktail Award Taiwan in 2011.
