Born and raised Hong Kong kid, Nishant Vargas has always had a passion for open armed hospitality, classic yet creative cocktails and rock n’ roll. Nish cut his teeth bartending for over half a decade in a roster of well known venues such as Lily&Bloom, Terrible baby and The diplomat.  At The Diplomat he was imperative in helping lead the team to numerous awards and accolades . Most recently he has joined Artifact Bar as their Head bartender, creating amazing menus, growing the team and of course making memorial moments for the guest with banging cocktails.

To walk away from the city and all that you currently know, stepping into a vessel where the only reality is the stories told -the drinks are those stories, a journey of time, ocean and earth by the way of the glass, with a focus on international aged spirits and how nature and ageing changes the essence of what we drink. We are just as focussed on the stories of our guests and how they, too, bring complex narratives to this world of stories around us.
