Kevin Lai joined The St Regis Bar as head mixologist in November 2022. Born and raised in Taiwan, Kevin started his career in Taipei and over the course of 10 years, gained experience from around the world through guest bartending stints, competitions, and various other bartending opportunities. Prior to joining The St. Regis Bar, Kevin was bar manager and later, bar consultant, for Hope & Sesame Guangzhou, one of the most popular bars in Asia which took 18th place in 2022 Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

To date, Kevin has been awarded Top 4 at the 2020 Flor de Caña Competition China Final, Top 5 at the Elit Art of Martini Taiwan and Jameson Competition China Final, and was Champion at the 2016 Start with Stoli Taiwan.
