Matteo, our head Bar Manager, is originally from Italy and has built his career in Amsterdam, Australia, Singapore, and Mumbai. Passionate about crafting unique cocktails, he joined Opium Bar, where his creativity and sociability shine.

Opium Bar, located above Yaowaraj Road on the 4th and 5th floors of the POTONG building, blends New York opulence with the spirit of Chinatown Bangkok. Since opening in December 2021, it has received numerous accolades. The bar offers an extensive menu of aperitifs, digestifs, classic cocktails, and modern twists. Notable drinks include the FF (gin with gorgonzola and citrus), Naughty Red Riding Hood (salted butter mezcal with raspberry cordial), and Opium Spritz (grapefruit with prosecco).
