Wagyu Studio’s corporate chef Yoji Kitayama began his career at the age of 20 in Amsterdam. Through the years he developed his distinct signature style which can be described as a blend of technique and whimsy. His infectious bubbly energy pervades the room at Wagyu Studio’s Test Kitchen and is clearly woven into his menu, where we can taste his excitement and curiosity through every course. Hailing from Japan, this chef clearly brings his culture’s strict and beautiful respect for produce and the minutia of your craft to his daily practice. Aside from Wagyu Studio, Kitayama has been busy launching Izakaya Geronimo which is opening its doors in BGC, this September.
