Maaike is on a mission to improve Women's Health in Asia. She believes that technology can democratise the financial, physical, mental and sexual wellbeing of everyone and can help women in particular.

After 25 rewarding years in financial services and tech, most recently as CEO of Visa Hong Kong and Macau, Maaike in May 2023 joined Lindsay Davis, Founder of Femtech Association Asia as co-Ceo to help her build the first membership based Femtech industry network and advisory in Asia Pacific.

She is an advisor and investor to a number of amazing Sextech start ups including Sextech School, Nancy, Luuna and MixCare Health. She also runs an Instagram account called @maaikeonamission, normalizing the conversation about sex in Asia.

Maaike is one of the original founders of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong and Women In Tech HK, and has recently spoke about the Future of Sex at SXSW.
