J Frank, a contemporary artist turned bartender, is inspired by the art of hospitality, creating connections and building sage spaces. Having focused his time on spirits education, J continuously strives to learn more and about the ingredients that make up our world. After 7 years in London working at establishments such as The Shard he has made his way to Hong Kong to open and manage ARTIFACT Bar. Infusing his imagination and talent for the arts into its subeterranean existential experience.

‍ARTIFACT bar is transportive, a subterranean porthole to an experience untethered to the outside world. To walk away from the city and all that you currently know, stepping into a vessel where the only reality is the stories told -the drinks are those stories, a journey of time, ocean and earth by the way of the glass, with a focus on international aged spirits and how nature and ageing changes the essence of what we drink. We are just as focussed on the stories of our guests and how they, too, bring complex narratives to this world of stories around us. ARTIFACT is the convergence of art, history, connection and nature by the means of craft.
