Recraft is an experimental neighbourhood bar that pairs world-class cocktails with warm, unpretentious hospitality, led by seasoned bartender Cedric Mendoza, who brings an international perspective to the programme after previously leading the celebrated Manhattan bar in Singapore. Guided by a ‘familiar unfamiliar’ philosophy, Mendoza constantly plays with expectations, reworking classics and introducing flavour-bending techniques while keeping the experience approachable and fun. The ever-shifting menu is complemented by elevated bar chow and comfort food, while the bar’s playful spirit extends to concepts like the country’s first dedicated Nikka Room and its irreverent ‘Best F***in’ Menu Ever’. Even after moving on from its New Manila home, Recraft continues to champion thoughtful, boundary-pushing cocktails without losing the warmth of a neighbourhood bar.
